Slippers understands the benefit of a nutritional diet – but also the preferences of families and children!

Slippers sets out to offer an interesting variety of food for the children to select. We always pay careful attention to any dietary requirements or parental requests and offer alternatives to the main items when children don’t like them.

Fresh fruit and drinks are available at all times.

We are sure you will find the following sample menus offer a good variety. These are changed weekly, and often include items that follow the ‘Theme of the week,’ i.e. Fairy cakes with Pixie Dust – and Flying Saucer Bagels!

 

SLIPPERS BREAKFAST MENU

  • Shreddies, Rice Krispies, Weetabix,
    Cornflakes, Porridge – and sometimes Cheerios!
  • Selection of Fresh Fruit or Raisins
    Natural Yogurt or small Fromage Frais
  • At least 2 from the selection of:
    Bagels, Muffins, Crumpets, Brioche, Pancakes, Toast with Jam,
    Marmite, Honey or Marmalade
  • Wednesday: Scrambled eggs
  • Friday: Boiled eggs
  • Milk, Apple or Orange Juice to drink

  • MONDAY
    Jacket Potato with butter and cheese
    Apple and raisins
  • TUESDAY
    Pitta bread with hummus and cucumber sticks
    Pineapple pieces
  • WEDNESDAY
    Spaghetti rings on toast
    Orange segments and grapes
  • THURSDAY
    Choc Chip Cookies
    Fruit salad and ice cream
  • FRIDAY
    Ham or chicken rolls with cherry tomatoes
    Melon slices
